BAÜN’s Nursing Students In The Field For Public Health in Çanakkale

Balıkesir University Nursing Department has signed more for a meaningful event that contributes to society health as the Association of Tactiles to Life. Community Advisor Prof. Dr. Arzu Tuna’s coordination, nursery students in the community had health screenings by bringing together with citizens in Çanakkale.

In the event organized in Turkan Saylan Social Facilities in Çanakkale, nursery students were engaged in medical screening of numerous citizens, including hypertension, diabetes and obesity. Students who pay attention to the importance of protective health care, answered the questions of citizens about healthy living habits.

Students who find the opportunity to contact society directly in the event performed with the contributions of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality and Çanakkale Municipality have consolidated the awareness of social responsibility while achieving the opportunity to implement professional knowledge and skills in the field.

Under the event, students visit Çanakkale Gallipoli Martyrs as well as orphans and minnetle.
