“Community and Coordination Workshop” was held in coordination of the Governorship of Balıkesir and cooperation of the South Marmara Development Agency.

On September 15-16, 2026, the program carried out in Balıkesir Teacherhouse; Balıkesir Governor Ismail Masteroğlu, Deputy Director of the University of Balıkesir Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl attended academicians from different disciplines with representatives of related public institutions and organizations.

Under the program Facultemiz Nursing Department Public Health Nursing Assistant Professor Dr. Öğr. The Member Deniz Aslı Ninecan presented the presentation titled “Depositive Epidemiology and Special Groups in Turkey and the World”. Ninecan pay attention to the reflections of the dependency problem on special and fragile groups in Turkey and in the light of epidemiological data.

In two days of the workshop; health communication and stamping in the fight against addiction, health literacy, digital dependence risks, multidisciplinary public health approach, family-based and inclusive prevention programs, psychiatric assessment, motivational interview, judicial case management and coordination issues between institutions were discussed. Opinions and recommendations were shared for the integration of institutions in the context of a joint response language.

The program presented an important contribution to bringing together field applications with academic knowledge in the fight against addiction and strengthening business union between institutions.
